I really did have a reason for waiting this long to change my name. There was a delay in getting the official copies of our marriage license so by the time they arrived, it was too late to change my voter registration. A few weeks ago I got my updated social security card and today I got my new drivers license. Now, just have to change the bank account, work forms and insurance this week and it will be all complete. I have officially been moved to the back of the alphabet but my new last name is now one letter shorter.
