Happy 4th of July!

4 Jul

Happy 4th of July to everyone! It is so hot here that we got our outside time in early today. First it was time at the playground and then onto the sprayground.

Miss H played on the playground equipment for a few mintues and then all she wanted to do was run in the grass. Luckily, the space was huge and I think she covered most of the area.

Then it was off to get drenched at the sprayground. She had no fear of any of the spouts, fountains, sprays or downpours.

It was very sad when we had to go home. Her feet and hands were shriveled and she was so tired she could barely keep her eyes open but she wanted to stay and play. We promised we would go back tomorrow.

After a long nap for Miss H- we went to a cookout (mostly held inside because of the heat). It was a whole new house to explore and more yard to run around in.  And, there were other kids to stack cups with, run around with and generally wreak havoc with. This day has worn Miss H out and she will definitely not make it to see the fireworks on television.

Kerry was behind the camera today and got some great pictures 🙂 Hope everyone has a great holiday!

Hey, look what I can do

1 Jul

Miss  H acquired a new skill today.

So quick.

No fear.

And, a little pose.

While she was up there- she did try to help keep the windows clean.

I tried over and over to distract her from the chest but failed miserably. Now, that she has perfected this climbing skill- she wanted to try it over, and over and over again.

The only distraction came when she decided to pull the totes off the shelf and try to squeeze herself into the space.
