A few days after Christmas, we met up with Mom, Leigh, Chip and Mr. J for a post-Chrismas visit to Mount Vernon. The highlight was Aladdin the Camel.
He was on loan from a local zoo for the holidays. I guess George Washington had a camel and they bring one to visit every year. This was a bit of a comical thief. You got fair warning from an employee about his tendency to steal sunglasses, jewelry, hair clips, cameras but several people did not take the warnings. And, he liked to lick tops of people’s heads.
Miss H thought it was hysterical.
And, Mout Vernon always has a nice view.
