The forecast has called for snow and ice all week and I did not believe it would actually happen but it did. And, now school is closed tomorrow and the roads are supposed to be an icy mess.
We started the snowy day off with a walk through the neighborhood and woods to burn energy off both Miss H and the dog. I think the only two impacted by the trek were the adults.
Then, Miss H was thrilled about the grass being covered so she could make snow angels.
Miss S was not so sure what to think about this stuff on the ground.
We spent the afternoon with the fire going, chicken roasting and hearing the ice hit the windows. Ugh, winter.
