I had foot surgery on Thursday and I am slowly recovering. Trust me, one big toe can cause big pain. I will be wearing this cast until Wednesday and then I get switched over to a walking cast. Miss H has been keeping me company (and Miss S has been wedging herself under the bed).
Kerry has been a great nurse, kid wrangler, dog trainer and errand runner. Mom came up yesterday to help out and make dinner. We definitely appreciated both!
Miss S is a little confused by the sight of crutches and is generally curious about the thing on my foot. Also, she seems to have found a place to perch outside. (Yes, that is her on top of the sand and water table).
Miss H has been entertaining everyone with her ‘shows.’ I guess we need to find an acting class 🙂
