Grandpa got a helicopter flight for his birthday and he got to take his flight on Saturday. We all drove out to Manassas Regional Airport and met up with a nice pilot from American Helicopter. He spent some time getting instructions and then it was off.

Miss H thought it was super cool that the helicopter had no doors!
He got to spend some time taking the controls and enjoying the scenery. The smile on his face when he got off was priceless! It was evident that he very much enjoyed himself. Plus, he had perfect weather to enjoy the ride.
Kerry and Miss H were very excited about the cicadas they found and heard.
