We knew when we moved into the house that we needed a new door. We finally found the door, and the company that we wanted to work with, in the fall and got our new door, storm door (with screen within) and window installed today. It makes such a difference! And, we can no longer see light around the door 🙂
It was a little cold when they removed the old door and window.
Before (but the picture does not really show off the ugly white door with the brass kick plate and the lock that never seemed to fit right, plus the breeze that came through….)

Plus, we got the ugly boxwoods removed from the front. And, the ugly boxwoods and the unruly holly trees removed from the backyard. Things look a little bare right now but we have new landscaping coming soon.
No weekend would be complete with out a run to Home Depot. Kerry’s head did damage to our dining room chandelier so we needed a replacement. And, Miss H found the face painter.
