Dad and Kathy arrived on Thursday and we celebrated Dad’s birthday on Saturday evening. It was a great evening and it was fun to catch up with old friends. It was kind of a whirlwind weekend and I totally missed out on the photo opportunities so hopefully friends will send me some.
We had an Italian themed dinner that everyone loved and Leigh and Chip brought delicious cakes for dessert. Miss H loved the shrimp that they brought with them too. I now know that we can seat 16 people comfortably in our house 🙂
Dad had some help from Miss H with blowing out the candles and we all enjoyed the yummy cakes.
All in all, it was a great birthday evening!
Dad and Kathy headed back to Vermont this morning and we are looking forward to seeing them soon. We will go visit this summer but I think they have plans to come back this way in the spring.
