I picked Miss H up after school today and I asked get what they did today. She immediately got excited and said, “Did you go boating with the President?”
It took me a second to realize we were talking about voting. I tried to clear up the confusion between boating and voting but finally gave up.
Boating with the President did seem more exciting.

Too funny! We had the same problem with Elliott. He was so excited to go vote with me when Dad got home and when we got to the school he said, “Where’s the boat Mom?”. I tried to explain it to him and thought he understood but after we voted and got in the car he asked if we were going to find the boat now. I gave up 🙂
