Our neighbors had mentioned there would be a parade coming up our street tonight and we are glad we were home to see it. Miss H heard the drums before she could see the band and started cheering as they got closer.
There was the full marching band, cheerleaders, football team, many other sports teams, the drama club, local politicians, the fire department, various local businesses and the homecoming court.
Plus, they were tossing candy. By the time we walked back home, Miss H had her pockets full.
