We have spent a majority of our first days in the new house focused on unpacking. We have made major progress but still have boxes to unpack. We have assembled furniture, organized the kitchen, hung towel racks and shower curtains, re-hung closet organizers and tried to figure out where all our furniture should go. Also, we have been searching for new bedroom furniture to maximize our current master bedroom. While we gained space overall, we lost some square footage in our master bedroom (and closet) but we are okay with that!
Plus, we have met some really nice people in our neighborhood! I think Miss H has enjoyed the neighbors (especially the one with the dog) and finding the cool neighborhood playground.
We tested it out last night and we have promised to go back this weekend. Hope everyone has had a nice week and we will post progress pictures this weekend.
