We are experiencing crazy hot weather, had a crazy storm last night and we don’t have cell phone service. But, miraculously, we still have power (and cable television).
The storm seemed to come out of nowhere and it felt like the roof was going to come off our house. I learned (from the Weather Channel) that this type of storm is called a derecho. Then today, it got back up to 100 and more storms are supposed to be coming this way. Keeping my fingers crossed that the power stays on this time too.
Since it was so hot, pool time was essential.
