A Whole Year in One Single Post

5 Jan

I love being able to look back through the blog to see the things we have done and how much Miss H has changed!

We started off the year with Dad visiting and two trips to the Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum.

Look at that little face.

And, Mom and I went to San Francisco.

We spent a lot of time at playgrounds and parks.

Somebody turned 2 years old and had a blast at her party.

Kerry’s dad came to visit. And, Kerry got to drive a duck boat.

We discovered the very cool koi pond at the National Arboretum. We need to go back there soon!

We got to ride Thomas the Train in Baltimore.

We got to see all kinds of sheep at the Sheep and Wool Festival.

Miss H discovered the joys of playing with the hose washing the car.

We moved her out of her crib and it was a tad traumatic for everyone.

Miss H fell in love with the pool and we spent most of our summer there.

And, summertime means ice cream time.

Mom joined me on another business trip and we headed to Philadelphia.

By June, she still did not like her own bed and decided sleeping at the bottom of ours was much more comfortable.

Also, June brought us another great anniversary 🙂

Dad and Kathy came to visit us from Vermont.

A trip to the Baltimore Aquarium was so fun!

More summer fun included boat rides, swim lessons, the sprayground, and a memorable trip to Dinosaur Land.

Mom and I went to Boston for my work. Have you spotted a trend yet?

And, I won’t forget the earthquake.

Post-Hurricane Irene was nice weather.

All of a sudden it was fall and the weather started to cool off.

Best picture of the year might go to Aunt Leigh 🙂

Montpelier Farms was a nice way to start off the season of pumpkins, fall leaves and of course, football.

In September, Miss H still did not like her new bed but she was sleeping soundly so we did not care.

Dad and Kathy came back on their way from Vermont to South Dakota.

We loved Cox Farm and picked the perfect day to go explore. Miss H thinks all farms have slides now.

Another favorite fall tradition revisited.

We were so excited when Leigh and Chip got engaged! Wedding will be in just a few months.

We got to visit a llama farm.

We enjoyed a nice trip to Williamsburg and I went back to Boston. Thanksgiving was great and the weather was unseasonably warm.

The weather stayed great even though Christmas was quickly approaching.

I finished the semester with perfect grades 🙂 Christmas did arrive and it was fantastic!

We finished off the year with a trip to the zoo and a cozy nap.

Thanks for following along on our adventures and hope you have a fantastic 2012.
