We were invited over to a friend’s house for Halloween pizza and fun last night. And, it was fun! They live on a nice cul-de-sac that allowed the kiddos to visit 10 houses and get their Halloween loot. Plus, they had their house decked out in Halloween decorations, complete with smoke machines, moving ghosts in the trees and a guy that popped up from a grave. Miss H was a lady bug but with the cold weather, she insisted on wearing her jogging suit.
The first house, the kids were a little hesitant about this whole knocking on the door and saying ‘trick or treat,’ thing but they received full-size candy bars and they were so excited to move onto the next house. We were impressed with their loud thank yous as they dashed off to find more friendly neighbors with bowls of candy.
By house #2, Miss H was thrilled with this whole process and just wanted to go again and again. All the neighbors were so nice and the kids had a great time.
We tried to get a picture but it was just too fun to be doing other things.
Halloween was a big success this year!
