Before I get to the part about radishes and sushi, I wanted you to know that we survived the snow and kept our power! We have many friends and co-workers who were without power for a few hours to a few days. One of my co-worker’s 45 minute commute home turned into a 7 hour ordeal and she is pregnant. She was fine in the end and just happy to be home.
After a long week of working, bad weather and just general exhaustion, we decided to get take-out. I opted for sushi while Kerry opted for Thai and luckily they are available at the same restaurant. Miss H was immediately interested in what I was eating so I let her try the sushi (it was cooked). She loved it, especially the part about dipping it in wasabi and soy sauce. She helped me finish off my rolls and then we moved onto the salad with ginger dressing. On top of the salad was sliced radishes (I do not like them) and she ate all of them. I kept watching her chew them and knew she was going to spit it out, but she ate every last one. Pretty interesting palette for a 22 month old! She won’t eat pasta but now we know she likes sushi 🙂
We had a busy weekend of a friend’s baby shower, play date, gym class and Kerry winning some money playing poker combined with normal errands and around the house stuff. Not sure where all the time went but now it is just getting ready for another week.
Miss H has not used her stroller in months but seems to love to sit in her doll stroller.
