It did snow last week. We got a few inches but no work canceled or anything fun like that. But, this weekend we are supposed to get some real snow. All that rain in California is moving this way so Santa’s special delivery could be a white Christmas for us. Well, at least we will have plenty of new kids toys to keep us all busy!
Speaking of toys- my mom has saved (and cleaned) some of my childhood toys and passed them along to Miss H. The Tonka Jeep circa 1979 and the Matchbox cars are a huge hit.
The five Matchbox cars (and a really cool orange van) fit into the seats of the Jeep perfectly and she has been carrying them all around for several days. There are sound effects with the vehicles too (vroom vroom buzzzzzzz)!
But, my iPod headphones occupied about 45 minutes this evening.
Obviously, we need to get her a haircut as soon as possible.
We are almost all ready for Christmas and are excited to have family at our house. Also, we are excited to see how Miss H reacts to the presents! She is really curious about the presents under the tree so it should be fun to have her unwrap everything.
She turns 21 months tomorrow and I can’t believe how close we are getting to her second birthday!
Hope everyone is having a nice week.
Hope the ear buds still work…and I see no need of a hair cut..ha ha.. ho…ho…ho…also glad some of your old toys survided to be handed down…
