My printmaking class started this week and it was very fun to be back in the studio after a month long break. We have the same teacher again so we had the option of doing our own thing or following the new people in class and doing the cut-out stencil. I had fun with the cut-out stencil last time so decided to make a new one. But, since I have already taken this class- I got to prep last week and actually figure out what I was going to do.
I decided to do a front porch that kind of look like some of the row houses in Old Town Alexandria. Since each class is only 3 hours (compared to 5 this summer)- I did not get very far last night. More to come!
