We had an earthquake very early this morning (5:04 to be exact). I woke up but only because I thought the trash trucks were making the rounds awfully early. No one else in the house stirred and I did not realize it was not the trash trucks until I went outside and the trash was still there (my power of observation is amazing sometimes). It was only a 3.6 on the Richter Scale but the largest quake this area has ever had.
It is ALL over the news today. The Capitol shook. The White House shook. People on TV talking about their shaking windows. 911 was flooded with calls. Most people at work thought a helicopter was flying really low over their house.
