Happy 4th of July to everyone! It is so hot here that we got our outside time in early today. First it was time at the playground and then onto the sprayground.
Miss H played on the playground equipment for a few mintues and then all she wanted to do was run in the grass. Luckily, the space was huge and I think she covered most of the area.
Then it was off to get drenched at the sprayground. She had no fear of any of the spouts, fountains, sprays or downpours.
It was very sad when we had to go home. Her feet and hands were shriveled and she was so tired she could barely keep her eyes open but she wanted to stay and play. We promised we would go back tomorrow.
After a long nap for Miss H- we went to a cookout (mostly held inside because of the heat). It was a whole new house to explore and more yard to run around in. And, there were other kids to stack cups with, run around with and generally wreak havoc with. This day has worn Miss H out and she will definitely not make it to see the fireworks on television.
