A big happy Father’s Day to Kerry and Hadley’s two granddads! Kerry got the very traditional gift of a shirt and tie and his choice of places for lunch. Kerry and I enjoyed lunch but Miss H really enjoyed it. She ordered off the kids menu, flirted with the waiter and was fascinated with the kid sitting behind us. It was entirely too hot to do anything outside today and Kerry was happy to stay inside and watch World Cup Soccer and the U.S. Open. I have been told that I just don’t appreciate the fact that ‘golf is in primetime.’
