Hadley did not get the message about it being Mother’s Day on Sunday. She was crabby for most of the morning. Neither Kerry nor I could do anything right. Her mood only improved when Mom and Leigh arrived. We think the culprit was some new teeth making the move to the surface.
PJs and color clashing socks kind of sums up the day 🙂
She loved the gift Leigh and I got Mom and I was not certain Mom was going to get to take it home.
But Miss Crabby Pants mood improved and we all had a nice Sunday. We made soft tacos (corn tortilla version) with both chicken and beef and added all the usual toppings plus cilantro pesto. It was a great Sunday lunch and it is now going to be in my favorite meal rotation. And, Kerry and I have been very happy that H’s bad mood has not resurfaced.
I will be enjoying my pedicure gift later this week and have already enjoyed my new shoes. Hope everyone had a lovely Mother’s Day!
