Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone! Hadley enjoyed eating the cards she received. Don’t worry- colored enveloped are not toxic. I googled it to make sure. I am positve that paper does not taste great but Hadley tries to eat it on an hourly basis.
Since we did not get any snow this weekend (wahoo!)- we were finally able to take Mom to her birthday lunch. Leigh learned quickly that sitting next to Hadley’s highchair can be hazardous since she wants to grab everything in reach. All was well until dessert arrived-Leigh’s slice of pie was too close to Miss H and she masterfully put her hand right into the whipped cream. I don’t know who was more startled- Leigh from the flying whipped cream or Hadley because she actually was able to get something.
Today, we are cooking drip beef and the house smells delicious. I am not a fan of slabs of red meat but I do like shredded or thinly sliced beef on sandwiches so today is our version of French Dip. Recipe here.
Luckily, the new dining room table is still very exciting for Hadley. Plus the counter height makes it so she does not continually hit her head.
Tomorrow could be more snow 😦
