Kerry had a great weather yesterday for the Army-Ten Miler and he finished in 82 minutes! (82:11 to be exact). Hadley and I had fun going to watch him race and got to see him at the 2 mile and 5 mile marks. Above is at the 2 mile (see him in the bright yellow t-shirt). The 5-mile picture is not so good because I was trying to stop someone from eating the grass but he is there (look in the right corner).
21,289 runners crossed the finish line and Kerry even caught up with Jay and Tiffany on the last mile over the 14th Street Bridge. Kerry placed in the top 20 percent and is looking forward to the run again next year. And, no they don’t allow jogging strollers so Hadley and I will be spectators again.
Congrats to Kerry and everyone who ran for a great cause!
Yay for Kerry, he did great! It was such a beautiful day for a race.
Double Yay…great run
