Happy four months to Hadley! We have her 4 month check-up on Friday so we will be able to give you height-weight then. We know she is definitely not at the top of the height-weight chart but she is very healthy and happy. She is rolling over, does this swim like thing when on her stomach, can shove her whole fist in her mouth, tracks us and objects with her eyes, grabs at anything not secured, has the biggest smiles and makes new noises every day.
Her new favorite toy- her toes.
And, in other random events from the week:
1. I called Frontier Airlines to find out what rows on the plane for our upcoming trip to Colorado are equipped with the infant air masks (because, you know, a plane last week got a giant whole in it and the air masks were necessary). Frontier Airlines representative was unsure what rows they are or if our seats correspond with those rows. But, she was CONFIDENT the airline would put us in the correct rows.
2. UPS tried to deliver a package to us but somehow confused our address with the Harris Teeter that is way down the street. Like, not even on the same road or in the same zip code down the street. Also, UPS tried to throw diapers.com under the bus by saying, ‘the sender must have double labeled the box.’ No, they did not. UPS driver cannot read shipping label. I would think being able to read addresses would be an ‘essential’ job function. Package is en route to the right address today.
3. We had BIG news at the office yesterday. We purchased a company. A company that I once worked for. Sounds like the band might be getting back together after all.
4. At my current company, I have been the angst of one HR person. In a matter of 4 months- she has yet to pay me correctly, incorrectly charged me for insurance, not charged me for insurance, canceled my 401K contribution, messed up my direct deposit, entered my address wrong for my dependent care reimbursement and has had to apologize every pay period for some sort of error. Maybe, just once, maybe the next time, she might possibly get it right.
Hope everyone is having a good week!
Happy 4th to Hadley…
sounds like you need a new HR person…even I did better than that…
Torey, I agree with your dad – you need a new HR person! Does she do anything right?
I can’t believe that Hadley is four months already! Can’t wait to see you all on Saturday!
