Hadley got passed around today between all the relatives. There were even a few ‘arguments’ about who got to hold her next. She was not too particular about who held her but she made it known on several occasions that they were not holding her ‘just right.’ Once everyone learned the right way, all was well. We had a great lunch that included North Carolina barbeque brought straight from Wilmington by Carlton and Marilyn. We were quick to point out that they were now great aunt and uncle and Carlton agreed that he is a pretty ‘great’ uncle. Here is Hadley with William (is there such a thing as a third cousin? William and my mom are first cousins).

About half way through the festivities, Hadley decided she had been played with enough and could not keep her eyes open a minute longer.
And she stayed that way until after everyone left.
It was great to see everyone today and I am positive everyone enjoyed seeing Hadley.
We have had a pretty quiet weekend because Hadley’s teeth are starting to make her cranky. We had to postpone our ‘date night’ because we did not want to expose the babysitter to the cranky, jaw-pulling, intermittently screaming bundle of joy that is at our house. We were afraid she (the babysitter) would not ever want to come back. So, we ordered food (pizza for Kerry, sushi for me) and had a quiet evening at home. Hadley is feeling much better today and just in time to meet a bunch of relatives. Several cousins (two or three times removed), a great aunt and great uncle plus Grandmom are coming for lunch. We will be sure to post pictures.
