Hadley is two whole months today. But, first lets talk about Kerry. He is recovering very well from hip surgery and we appreciate everyone checking in on us! He is moving around without the crutches and besides sleeping a little more than normal- he is feeling much better than expected. There has been some serious couch time and TV watching at our house for the last few days.
So back to Hadley-y two months old (8 weeks, 5 days) and that means her first round of shots. She got one shot while we were at the hospital two whole months ago but today she got 4 shots and one oral vaccine. Kerry and I were a little nervous about the whole shot thing but she only let out one small squeal on the last one but then she went back to checking out the room and sucking on her pacifier. We were prepared for some kind of meltdown but no screams or crying from this kid. Also, we got her updated height and weight- a perfect 10 pounds 10 ounces and 22 1/4 inches long. The doctor checked her all out (including her hips to see if she had the same problem as Kerry) and she is in great shape and all is well. He was impressed with her rolling over abilities and her calm demeanor.
Kerry and I were impressed that we had done everything right for the last two months. Well, I am sure not everything right but pretty close 🙂
To finish off our day, we made the first summer trip to the Dairy Godmother. So yummy. We are not sure what we are doing this weekend but we hope everyone has a great holiday!
