This is one of the best times of year in DC! The weather is turning warm and the Cherry Blossoms are beginning to bloom. Kerry is registered to run the Cherry Blossom Ten Miler on Sunday so I think we will all be venturing downtown to watch him run and see the blossoms. If he decides not to run the ten-miler- we are still going to brave the crowds (albeit early in the morning) to see the blooms around the monuments.
Dad and Kathy will be leaving South Dakota next week to begin their vacation in this area and then off to Vermont to see Neil and Lori. However, their current weather is not very Spring-like. They have gotten over 8o inches (YES- I said 80) in the last week and are expecting more at the end of this week.
Seeing these pictures make us appreciate our current 65 degree and sunny weather. We are sure that Dad and Kathy are looking forward to the snow-less forecast in DC!
