Leigh will be 30 later this week so we had a celebration lunch and shopping trip today with Mom. We ate at one of my favorite places and then went shopping in Arlington. And, Kerry reminded us to take a picture when we got back:

I have been searching for curtains and some pillows for the nursery and have not found anything I liked so I decided to sew them myself. (I guess those fibers classes I had to take when I was getting my Art degree do come in handy). The nursery seems to be almost all pink, chocolate and white and I found some great fabric yesterday to coordinate:
I finished one pillow and started on the curtains before having to get ready for Leigh’s birthday lunch!
The curtains are WAY too long so I will be finishing up the one side, hemming and adding some finishing details later today.
