2008 has flown by and we have been busy! I started thinking about all the things we did and was amazed. Here is a short recap:
We started 2008 engaged and in the details of planning a wedding. I started a new job. Kerry stayed at the Red Cross. Leigh, Mom and I went to Niagara Falls. Kerry went to Las Vegas with his guy friends. I went to Williamsburg with my girl friends. Kerry went to Panama. Kerry turned 36. Kerry went skydiving. I turned 34. We went to Sanibel. We laughed and swam and played volleyball with our family and friends. We relaxed. We got married. The minister lost our marriage license and we thought we were going to have to get married again. He found it. We went to Boston. We were tourists. We went whale watching. We saw the Red Sox play at Fenway and the Nationals play in DC. We got pregnant. We visited Dad and Kathy in South Dakota. We remodeled our kitchen. I changed my name. We found out we were having a girl. We saw some great movies. We combined cellphone plans. We had 14 baby related doctor appointments and got to see her on 10 different ultrasounds. We realized we were going to be parents. We voted. We hosted Thanksgiving. We welcomed a new nephew and three new second-cousins into the world. We laughed a lot and cried a little (mainly over happy things and one toe-stubbing incident). Kerry was happy to see the Vikings make it to the playoffs. We were both happy to see the start of my third trimester. We started to set-up a nursery. Kerry assembled a crib and painted furniture. We looked at life insurance and set-up a 529 college savings plan. We realized 2009 was coming quickly!
We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and that you have a great 2009.
