Both Kerry and I think it is cool to work in downtown DC but our offices are on opposite ends of the Mall. I work near the Capitol and he is closer to the Lincoln Memorial. It is nice to be able to escape the office and have easy access to the monuments, museums and historic sites. On Wednesday I had a meeting on Pennsylvania Avenue and walked past the new Newseum- it was cool to see their collection of newspapers around the world announcing Barack Obama as the new President. Not the greatest photos but you should get the idea.
And, it was just a nice, warm day in DC yesterday.
